POSITION DESCRIPTIONPart Time, Fill-In position. The individual in this position meets patients at the reception desk and/or admissions desk. The individual in this position is responsible for gathering and accurately inputting all relevant registration information, as well as preparation of the daily clinic scheduler. The individual is responsible for pre-payment collection and insurance co-payment collection. This individual is also responsible for answering calls, transferring calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas. The individual works closely with the Business Office in all Revenue Cycle functions. The work must be accomplished with integrity, sensitivity, and respect for the confidentiality and privacy of patients. Pay is dependent on experience; position is part time with limited benefits.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
