Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in Kansas City, KS for the 2026–2027 academic year. This position will support students with a range of intensive academic, behavioral, communication, and physical support needs within a collaborative special education environment.

Our team works closely with clinicians and educators throughout the contract process to provide consistent support and guidance from onboarding through assignment completion.

Position Details

• Full-time, school-based contract assignment
• Located in Kansas City, Kansas
• Primary responsibilities centered around evaluations and psychoeducational testing
• Caseload includes students with significant support needs, including:
• Non-verbal students
• Students with physical impairments
• Students utilizing assistive technology (AT) and alternative communication systems
• Opportunity to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and special education staff

Compensation and Benefits

• $40-$50 per hour W2 depending on experience

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Active Kansas School Psychologist certification/licensure through the Kansas State Department of Education
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with complex or significant disabilities strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with diverse and intensive needs
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
• Assist with eligibility determinations, reevaluations, and data collection
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide assessment-based recommendations
• Collaborate with special education teams, related service providers, and campus staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
