Senior Learning & Development Lead

Responsibilities Curriculum Design & Content Creation — Design, develop, and maintain engaging training programs for Care Advocates and other roles across onboarding, systems, compliance, and ongoing development. Create high-quality e-learning modules, videos, presentations, job aids, and assessments using adult learning principles and inclusive design standards. Maintain an up-to-date Care Advocate handbook and a centralized knowledge base of SOPs, how-to documentation, and training materials. Iterate the training curriculum as the program evolves. Facilitation — Lead virtual onboarding sessions, professional development workshops, and compliance training for a range of audiences. Foster interactive learning environments and provide coaching and ongoing support to Care Advocates during and after onboarding. LMS & Systems Administration — Own Care Delivery content on TalentLMS end-to-end: build and organize courses, manage enrollments and learning paths, configure assessments and certifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth learner experience. Maintain accurate learner records and audit-ready documentation. Pull reporting and surface insights on completion, engagement, and readiness. Compliance & Certification Tracking — Oversee compliance training programs and certification requirements; ensure team members meet health plan partner expectations and maintain regulatory-ready records for audits. SME Partnership & Collaboration — Partner with Clinical Operations SMEs and team leads to align training with current workflows, state and federal compliance standards, and performance goals. Collaborate with the broader L&D team on standards and best practices. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement — Track onboarding readiness, analyze training metrics, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. Respond to coaching requests and identify skill gaps to implement scalable improvements. Change Management & Communications — Support change management for the care team; communicate changes to workflows, scripts, or policies and build trusted relationships across a diverse team. Qualifications L&D experience in a healthcare setting (clinical operations, community health, telehealth, value-based care, or a regulated environment); strong preference and weighting in evaluation. Demonstrated instructional design skills with experience creating e-learning, video content, job aids, and assessments. Hands-on LMS experience (preferably TalentLMS) or strong experience with a comparable platform. Experience supporting frontline care teams (e.g., Community Health Workers, Care Navigators). Familiarity with compliance training and certification tracking in regulated environments (health plan partner requirements or HIPAA-adjacent programs). Experience building and tracking dashboards or readiness reports to measure training effectiveness. Strong project management, attention to detail, and end-to-end ownership of processes. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to drive change at scale. Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across a geographically distributed team. Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced program and willingness to bring others along. Curiosity about AI tools and openness to using them to improve efficiency (training provided). Tech fluency: Slack, Google Suite, LMS platforms, and e-learning authoring tools. Bonus: experience training Community Health Workers or frontline roles in Medicaid/Medicare contexts; familiarity with value-based care, social determinants of health, or care coordination workflows; experience supporting health plan partner compliance or quality audits; change management in clinical settings.
