General Sales Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

· Own all membership sales and lead generation efforts

· Drive weekly sales goals of 5-7 new memberships

· Build relationships with local businesses, schools, fitness facilities, and community organizations

· Attend and coordinate community outreach events and pop ups

· Manage all leads through the studio's lead management software

· Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up calls

· Convert free trial sessions into recurring memberships

· Ensure every prospect leaves with a defined next step

· Support front desk and retail operations as needed

· Assist in maintaining a strong studio presence and customer experience

· Work closely with ownership throughout the studio launch process

Provide consistent communication and updates regarding sales activity and pipeline

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

· 1-2+ years of sales experience

· Experience selling memberships, subscriptions, or recurring service based offerings

· Experience managing and converting inbound and outbound leads

· Comfortable making outbound calls

· Experience building community partnerships and networking relationships

· Ability to create clear next steps and maintain follow up throughout the sales cycle

Weekend availability as needed for events and pop ups Plusses

· Gym, fitness, wellness, chiropractic, physical therapy, or boutique fitness sales experience

· Experience with grassroots marketing initiatives

· CRM or lead management software experience

· Experience attending community events, trade shows, or pop up activations

Experience opening a new location or helping scale a growing business
