Rockmart Hourly Production General Laborer - 1st Shift Job Category: Production Requisition Number: ROCKM001354 Location: Rockmart, GA 479 Nathan Dean Pkwy, USA Job Details Pay: $11.50/Hour ($14.50 with perfect attendance bonus) Schedule: Monday-Friday & some Saturday when required Benefits Weekly Pay 401K Offered after 6 months Insurance offered after 60 Days Holiday Pay Nurse on premises 5 days a week Nurse Practitioner on premises 1 day a week Referral and attendance Bonuses Key Responsibilities Ensure food safety, quality and legality. At times, may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Ensure product does not pile up. Inspect meat for defects (bone, veins, skin, etc.). Assist in other departmental areas as needed. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must be able to rotate positions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments.
