Must Have Qualifications: 5-7 years of true full stack software development experience, with strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot. 60/40 split front-end. Experience with cloud databases (e.g. MongoDB), Junit, Kubernetes, networking, Linux and security/data flows is required. Exposure to Java 21 would be a plus. Financial / mortgage background is not required. Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering Strong expertise in Java, designing and building Restful APIs using Spring Boot. Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Front-end development experience with Angular and modern UI patterns. Hands-on experience with modern build, CI/CD, and containerization tools including Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, VSCode and IntelliJ. Strong testing mindset, with experience writing JUnit tests using Mockito and Jasmine for front end unit testing. Working knowledge and practical experience with GenAI-enabled development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows). Knowledge and experience in the cloud (AWS) and working with Kubernetes - Istio and helm charts. Good communication skills. The incumbent will be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT.
