We're hiring a Bilingual HR Generalist who is ready to jump in, make an impact, and be a go-to resource for employees and leadership. If you're fluent in English and Spanish and passional about creating a great employee experience, we want to meet you!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
- PAY $24-$30/hr. DOE
- Contract to hire: 3 mos to convert

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team, with a primary focus on leaves of absence administration, benefits, offboarding, and HR reporting. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on process, compliance, and delivering a great employee experience from day one through departure.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary administrator for employee leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, baby bonding, and personal), including eligibility, documentation, and tracking
- Administer non-union employee benefits programs alongside our insurance broker, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment
- Manage the full offboarding process - exit interviews, final pay coordination, COBRA notices, and HRIS terminations
- Maintain absence and turnover reporting, identifying trends and providing insight to MFE leadership
- Support general HR functions as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual Spanish a must
- Working knowledge of leave of absence laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL) strongly preferred
- Prior experience administering employee benefits preferred
- High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite; HRIS and reporting experience a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information
- A team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (occasional local driving)
