Dentist ICARESTL HEALTH is seeking a full-time dentist. The dentist may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons. Other duties may be assigned.Essential functions:After a thorough evaluation of health history, x-rays, and oral examination/cancer screen/periodontal evaluation discuss with the patients the findings of the dental examination and the treatment that can be taken care of in our health centerCreate a treatment plan and complete treatment in a timely manner; referring out any services the health center can't renderRender treatment to our pediatric and pregnant population in the window of insurance coverageGive chronic disease patients referrals to PCP for medical clearance for treatment; record and trackPractice to the full extent of your license including extractions (simple and some surgical), restorative (amalgams and composites), root canals (anterior and premolars), crowns, bridges, partials, and dentureEducation:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of DentistryLicensed to practice in the State of MissouriMust have current CPR/CE certificatesExperience:Some experience in a community health center is desirable but not mandatoryKnowledge, skills, and abilities:Maintain a professional attitude towards patients in and out of the Health CenterGood oral and verbal communication skillsGood organizational and self-motivational skillsMust be willing to practice to the full extent of your licenseMust be willing to participate in community health fairs sponsored by MHDMust be willing to work with the pediatric population.
