Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Position: Senior Accountant Location: LaPorte, Indiana – Onsite About The Company And Opportunity Of Senior Accountant Our client is a global organization with a collaborative culture and strong partnership between finance and operations. This role offers a dynamic mix of core accounting, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration. You’ll join a stable and supportive team, working closely with both U.S. and international leadership. Overview Of The Senior Accountant Role Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections in coordination with the sales team. Work closely with the sales department, who are responsible for sending invoices, to ensure billing accuracy and timely follow-up. Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain general ledger accuracy. Lead the month-end close process with a goal of completing it within one week. Manage fixed asset tracking, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. Act as the point person for audits—coordinate the process, work directly with auditors, and collaborate with the internal CPA for preparation. Preferred Qualifications For The Senior Accountant Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support. Experience working with international GAAP standards, especially Germany GAAP, is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 depending on experience Please Note: This is a full-time, onsite position based in Mishawaka, Indiana.
