• Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; no special scheduling or requested time off
• Setting: Freestanding emergency department with possibility of floating to the main ED
• Environment: New facility with all new equipment and technology

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Current RN license and the ability to work in a high-acuity emergency care environment
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience caring for common ED chief complaints, trauma patients, and urgent care cases
• Comfort working in a team-oriented, flexible, and patient-centered environment
• Experience with emergency nursing workflows, documentation, and rapid response to changing patient needs
• Ability to support point-of-care testing and emergency procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, and assist with common ED procedures
• Support trauma, cardiac, stroke, burn, and pediatric emergency care as needed
• Monitor and manage patients using ED equipment, including cardiac and vital sign monitors, CT, X-ray, and point-of-care lab systems
• Assist with respiratory support equipment such as BiPAP and ventilator-related care with available support
• Complete patient documentation in Meditech accurately and efficiently
• Use AIDET, SBAR, and clear narration of care to support an excellent patient experience
• Collaborate with nurses, techs, and providers to maintain smooth patient flow and safe care delivery
