Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a key leadership role overseeing pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge in Kennett Square, PA. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and manage critical compliance and operational responsibilities within a high-quality compounding environment.

Responsibilities include serving as the legally designated Pharmacist in Charge for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, acting as the primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. You will ensure accurate reporting of operational and regulatory changes, maintain oversight of sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, and champion quality assurance initiatives. Leading pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production personnel will be part of your role, along with managing batch record processes and supporting production scheduling to meet delivery and inventory goals.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Flexible availability on Saturdays if needed

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager
• Strong knowledge of USP standards, 503A regulations, and relevant federal and state pharmacy laws
• Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections effectively
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
