Pediatric Hospitalist Position Overview\n

In this pediatric hospitalist role, you will play a vital part in shaping the inpatient pediatric experience, ensuring high-quality care delivery while collaborating closely with specialists, nursing teams, and community providers. Key Responsibilities for Pediatric Hospitalist\n

• Provide direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges
\n
• Interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and manage ongoing treatment plans
\n
• Perform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitations
\n
• Collaborate with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to resident education and mentorship
\n

Qualifications:\n

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\n

\n

\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
\n

\n

\n
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
\n

\n

\n
• Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
\n

\n

\n

\n
