What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Handle high-volume patient flow independently as the sole provider in the center
• Perform minor procedures such as lac repairs, ear irrigation, and other urgent care interventions
• Utilize Epic EMR system for charting and documentation
• Collaborate with support staff, including center managers and medical assistants
• Ensure all clinical protocols and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain positive, patient-centered communication at all times

What You Need

Required:

• Active North Carolina nursing license and DEA registration
• Minimum of 12 months of urgent care, primary care, or ER experience
• Board certification with NCCPA, Family NP, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care procedures
• Strong soft skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This assignment is based in a busy urgent care center committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the community. The role involves managing a diverse patient population, performing minor procedures, and ensuring swift, compassionate care as a primary provider. The facility offers a supportive team environment with offsite supervising physicians and dedicated support staff. Training on EMR and onboarding are required prior to start, with scheduled sessions happening on set Wednesdays.
