What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and up
• Handle high-volume patient care independently as the sole provider
• Perform minor procedures such as lac repairs and ear irrigations
• Document diagnoses and treatments using Epic EMR system
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude embodying high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with support staff, including center managers and medical assistants
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active NC license and NC DEA
  • Board Certification (Family NP or equivalent)
  • 12+ months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
  • Ability to independently see and treat all assigned patients
  • Soft skills for one-on-one patient and staff interactions
• Preferred:
  • Previous experience in high-volume urgent care settings
  • Good soft skills for patient communication and teamwork

About the Assignment

This urgent care assignment involves working in a busy, community-focused center treating both adult and pediatric patients. The provider will work independently, managing patient flow efficiently using Epic EMR, and performing minor procedures as needed. Training and onboarding are mandatory, with scheduled sessions on Wednesdays. The facility emphasizes high-quality immediate care in a fast-paced environment.
