Supervisor - Emergency Veterinary Technician Westford Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center | Westford, Massachusetts Westford Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center is looking for a compassionate and motivated Emergency Technician Supervisor to help lead our emergency and critical care team. WVERC is a comprehensive 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital providing advanced care across emergency and critical care, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, anesthesia and pain management, physical rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging. Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Emergency WVERC in Westford, MA Salary: $38.00-$42.00 /per hour based on experience Schedule: Full-time; 3 12-hour shifts. Time allotted for admin duties. Schedule may change based upon the needs of the hospital/department. WHAT YOU'LL DO Team Leadership Lead and support technical staff through daily guidance, coaching, and feedback Partner on hiring, onboarding, and performance management Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment Workflow & Operations Oversee daily workflow, staffing, and patient flow Delegate responsibilities to support efficient, high-quality care Identify and improve processes to enhance team efficiency Patient Care Ensure consistent, high-quality nursing care across the department Support treatments, procedures, and diagnostics as needed Maintain accurate and complete medical records Client Experience Support a smooth, professional client experience Guide team interactions and assist with resolving concerns Operations & Compliance Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards Communicate updates and expectations clearly to the team Training & Development Lead onboarding and ongoing training Support team growth and skill development Hospital Environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols Our Comprehensive benefit package includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with a total company match up to 4%, after 6 months of employment Generous paid time off Continuing education yearly allowance for skills development Uniform allowance Certification fees reimbursement (eligible employees only) Mental Health Resources Company paid bonding leave or applicable state provided bonding leave Perks for Your Pets Too!
