Key Responsibilities Provide chair‑side assistance during dental procedures, sterilize instruments, and mix restorative materials as needed. Perform intra‑oral and extra‑oral x‑rays, develop and mount x‑ray films. Maintain x‑ray, processor, autoclave, and dental units according to specifications. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, order supplies, and ensure setup of trays for patients. Complete daily instrument count sheet, perform dental screenings, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dental clinic. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Technology from an accredited school. Experience: Must have experience as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant in a private or public dental practice. Must demonstrate sound judgment in a correctional healthcare environment. Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain and maintain CPR certification and all state‑mandated certifications or trainings.
