Manager

Subway® Manager Position

As part of the Subway® team, you will focus on eight main things:

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful
• Managing inventory and money control systems
• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
• Recruiting staff
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
• Being a team player

In addition to the role of a manager, key parts of your day-to-day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

Prerequisites:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, with experience in supervising and training staff

Essential functions:

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to work with team members at all levels
• Computer knowledge is essential
• Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate the computerized point of sale system/cash register
• This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday
• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
