Job Description
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve functional milestones.
- Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methodologies aimed at enhancing motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner extensively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver all-encompassing care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on treatment methods to facilitate progress at home.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust therapies as necessary to keep patients on track.
- Acquired a degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Ongoing education or additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Possess an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement.
- A deep-rooted passion for helping individuals reach their utmost level of independence.
- Effective and empathetic communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
