Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon- Assistant Professor

Position Overview Minimally Invasive Gynecologist (MIGS) – Assistant or Associate Professor. OU Health and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Oklahoma City is seeking a full‑time clinician with fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery to join the Department at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The position involves a flexible combination of clinical care at OU Health, education, and clinical research in an academic setting. Applicants should be eligible for medical licensure in Oklahoma and board certified or board eligible. The MIGS section is an important growing component of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which currently has 41 faculty and representation of all board‑certified subspecialties including fellowship programs in Gynecologic Oncology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. The Department is part of the OU Health Sciences Campus, which houses 7 health colleges. The department has a strong residency program of 24 residents that actively participate in section activities during their training. Based on NIH funding, our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is ranked 21st among OB/GYN Departments at academic centers nationwide and continues to expand in research initiatives. Responsibilities Provide clinical care at OU Health in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery Engage in education of residents, students, and other faculty Conduct and publish clinical research within an academic setting Qualifications Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Eligible for medical licensure in Oklahoma Board certified or board eligible Excellent clinical and communication skills Interest in academic medicine including teaching and research Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
