Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for opioid abatement initiatives, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Oversee the allocation and management of the OAB funds, ensure expenditures are compliant with guidelines, prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders and funding bodies.
- Collaborates and facilitates regular meetings with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to maintain effective communication.
- Ensure project(s) comply with local, state, and federal regulations; prepare detailed reports on outcomes and fund utilization; submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement community outreach programs including but not limited to workshops, seminars, and other educational events to raise awareness about opioid addiction and available resources.
- Conduct regular evaluation to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and analyze data to measure the impact of the project including but not limited to a community needs assessment.
- Read and be knowledgeable about all of CREOKS policies and procedures.
- Maintain a small caseload of clients and perform case management duties such as advocacy, referrals, and linkage.
- Complete strengths based case management assessments on all clients on caseload and/or as assigned.
- Perform individual and/or group psychosocial rehabilitation for CREOKS clients.
- Turn in billing and associated documentation as mandated by CREOKS policy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Competencies Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Project Management, or a related Behavioral Health field
- Certification as a Case Manager II through ODMHSAS within 60 days of hire
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a mental health, healthcare or public health setting.
- Strong understanding of opioid addiction issues and abatement strategies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and adhere to compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
