About the Role

The Company is in search of an Interim AI Strategy Director / Head of AI to lead the definition and delivery of its first enterprise-wide AI strategy. This high-impact leadership role involves assessing the organization's current AI, data, and technology landscape, and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases that can drive business value, improve decision-making, and enhance operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a practical, commercially focused AI vision, establishing a strategic roadmap, and defining the governance framework and delivery approach to support long-term AI adoption. Applicants must have a proven track record in leading AI strategy and transformation programs, with experience in developing and implementing AI strategies at an enterprise level. A background in high-performance environments such as financial services or trading firms is essential, as is a deep understanding of generative AI, automation, data platforms, and AI governance. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to engage with senior executives and C-suite leaders, and the capacity to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. The Interim AI Strategy Director will also be expected to define policies, controls, and operating models for responsible AI adoption, lead pilot initiatives, and provide recommendations on future investment, organizational design, and capability development.
