79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064) Position Details: Hartford Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their vascular surgery team! Duties will include vascular surgery patient management and crisis intervention, daily rounding, assessment of new vascular consultations throughout the hospital, pre- and post-operative care, assisting on operative cases as needed, discharges, and collaborating with the Vascular Surgery Attending Physicians and other medical providers.

In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists. Qualifications

Requirements: Licensure : Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible) Training : Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Experience : New graduates welcome to apply!

Preferred: 2+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in vascular surgery setting

This is a salaried position. While compensation is presented as an hourly rate for consistency across our postings, this position is paid on a salary basis. The hiring range reflects a good faith estimate of pay for this position as of the posting date. Actual pay will be determined based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors that may include hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation.
