American Leadership Academy - Monroe is currently accepting applications for Health Aide Substitutes . Preferably a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA), or Registered Nurse (RN). Duties include, but are not limited to: Provides basic first aid and general care to students. Administers daily prescription and over the counter medications to students and maintains accurate records of medication given. Reviews student immunization records to ensure state compliance. Assists with hearing and vision screening. Acts as liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators.
