LPN - Behavioral Health

BayCare Health Systems is seeking an LPN for the Urgent Care center in New Port Richey. This is a field-based role. Position Details Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health Urgent Care Location: New Port Richey Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Varies On Call: No Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating to achieve the goals of nursing practice. Familiar with medical clearance guidelines and acts as liaison with physicians and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners. Coordinates and completes all admissions in a timely manner including nurse-to-nurse reports, triages, treatment plans, medication management and all related documentation. Completes tasks as assigned by the RN charge nurse. Required Certifications and Licensures LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) BLS (Basic Life Support) Required Education High School or Equivalent Associate's in Nursing (preferred) Experience 1 year behavioral health preferred 1 year in nursing preferred Background Screening This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
