Med/Surg Liver Kidney Patient Care Assistant (PCA)

As a Med/Surg Liver Kidney Patient Care Assistant (PCA) at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP), you will be part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional patient care. As an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center, BUMCP is nationally recognized for innovation and leadership in advanced medical treatments. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that performs some of the most state-of-the-art procedures in the country.

The Liver Kidney Specialty Care Unit (LKSC) is supported by a robust network of professionals, including social workers, nutritionists, case managers, transplant coordinators, pharmacists, therapists, chaplains, and physiciansnephrologists, hepatologists, surgeons, hospitalists, and the medical teaching staff. A primary focus of this unit is caring for patients on renal replacement therapy, including renal transplant, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. We work closely with the Kidney Center (inpatient hemodialysis unit, 9B) and Banner Transplant Services, ensuring continuity of care and patient education to promote healing and timely discharge.

We have day and night shifts available. Day Shift working from 7am-7:30pm and night shift working from 7pm-7:30am. You will have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential.
