The Hospital Revenue Cycle Director will report to the Chief Financial Officer with close partnership across the executive team and service-line leadership, leading experienced managers in Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Billing/Collections, and Revenue Integrity; responsibilities include setting the revenue cycle strategy, improving cash acceleration and net revenue, reducing denial and DNFB rates, overseeing charge description master governance, ensuring compliance with CMS/OIG and payer rules, optimizing EDI workflows, advancing automation and RPA, and refining EHR build to streamline front-end and back-end processes; the Director Revenue Cycle will be supported by robust analytics, real-time KPI dashboards, and cross-functional process improvement resources while collaborating daily with friendly nurses, case management, pharmacy, social work, and a diverse, inclusive team of healthcare professionals who value transparency, respect, and shared governance.
