The BHU unit is an Adult Psych Unit & Geri Psych Unit. Adult psych unit age 18 and up - 22 beds - have an additional 8 beds as overflow unit Geri Psych unit age 65 and over. A multimillion-dollar renovation has been completed; this renovation Improved the esthetic of the unit as well as bringing ligature points and safety up to the latest standards.How will you contribute:Each team of nurses are very supportive and work in collaboration with three Psychiatrists on staff and one medical director who is onsite 8 days a month and works telehealth.You'll make an impact by utilizing plan of care intervention.You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills to directly impact patient wellbeing.Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.BCLS required.Handle with Care preferred.
