Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs while supporting a safe, therapeutic environment. Position Details Title: Registered Nurse (Psych) Location: Richmond, TX Schedule: Day & Night Shifts Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies Oversee and supervise the shift Demonstrate leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc. Also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team Monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to and including notification of the physician Follow hospital policy for medication administration Deliver quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies Assist/performs comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience. Previous behavioral health experience required. CPR and De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
