Unit Overview

Day Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 - 2200)
Night Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 - 2200)
Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients
Equipment Used: Cardiac Monitoring, Ventilators, IV Pumps, Tube Feed Pumps, Swan
EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience
BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications

Preferred Skills:

Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations
Prior experience with Meditech

Typical Procedures

Intubations
Central line placements
