Senior Solutions Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant based in the United States. Join a customer-focused technical team helping organizations simplify IT operations through cloud-native endpoint management solutions. In this role, you will guide customers throughout their journey, from onboarding and implementation to platform optimization and ongoing performance reviews. You will combine deep technical expertise with consultative problem-solving to improve endpoint management, patching, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams, you will resolve complex technical challenges and turn customer feedback into meaningful improvements. You will also develop reusable scripts, technical resources, and workflows that strengthen service delivery and knowledge sharing. Independently lead customer onboarding, platform implementation, solution optimization, and ongoing performance reviews to maximize customer value.

Assess customer IT environments and configure policies, device groups, and patching workflows to align with operational requirements.

Build customer trust through technical leadership, platform education, clear communication, and thoughtful guidance, including during challenging discussions.

Partner with Customer Success Managers to remove technical barriers, improve platform adoption, and support positive customer outcomes.

Investigate endpoint and patching issues, document findings, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate timely escalations to Support and Engineering.

Maintain accurate engagement documentation and develop reusable knowledge base articles, scripts, and technical guidance.

Read, troubleshoot, and modify PowerShell or Bash scripts, contributing scripts and software deployment content to Worklet and third-party software catalogs.

Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, internal tools, and customer-facing technical processes.

Contribute to shared technical projects, internal knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage multiple customer engagements and competing priorities while maintaining ownership, accountability, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Systems Administration, Desktop Support, Solutions Engineering, or a comparable IT position.

Expert-level proficiency in at least one major operating system—Windows, macOS, or Linux—including administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and update management.

Proven production patch management experience, including deployment planning, testing, maintenance windows, reboot coordination, and troubleshooting failed updates.

Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, with experience designing tailored solutions for complex customer environments.

Experience collaborating closely with Support, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to resolve issues and improve customer outcomes.

Hands-on experience with endpoint or configuration management platforms such as Automox, MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune, WSUS, Jamf, NinjaOne, ManageEngine, BigFix, Tanium, or Ansible.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences ranging from system administrators to senior executives.

Strong organizational and project ownership skills, including the ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize effectively, and follow through on commitments.

A collaborative mindset, customer-oriented approach, and willingness to broaden technical expertise and contribute across team initiatives.

Prior external consulting experience is preferred but not required.

Additional preferred qualifications: Familiarity with GitHub/Git, Jira, and customer success, CRM, or service delivery platforms such as ChurnZero, Gainsight, Salesforce, or Rocketlane.

Experience developing original scripts, working with APIs, or using Python or Go.

Experience administering multiple operating systems.

Additional employment requirements: Must be able to pass applicable federal, state, and county background checks.

Annual base salary:

$110,000–$140,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
