Privacy and Data Protection Counsel (Fully Remote)

Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide legal guidance on privacy and data security. Help navigate regulations for a fintech company with broad market impact. Key Responsibilities: Counsel Product, Marketing, and business teams on legal and regulatory requirements. Anticipate risks and propose creative solutions with a business-focused mindset. Oversee data governance, mapping, and retention policies. Qualifications: 7+ years in product counsel role at law firm or in-house. Knowledge of consumer protection laws like RESPA, UDAAP, CCPA, GDPR, TCPA, GLBA. High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Fully remote position; candidates must be based in the U.S. Culture guided by operating principles: Agent Obsessed, Move Fast with Purpose, Own Your Outcome, Be Bold, Win Together.
