Job Summary

The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating sales activities, managing sales staff, driving revenue, supporting real estate transactions, and ensuring sales operations comply with applicable laws and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor sales personnel on sales techniques, negotiation, closing strategies, and quota achievement.
• Monitor sales team performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and professionalism.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with revenue and business objectives.
• Manage, develop, and evaluate sales personnel to achieve departmental sales goals.
• Work directly with sales staff and clients to resolve pricing, property, repair, closing cost, and other transaction-related issues.
• Sell or rent residential and commercial properties on behalf of clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist with negotiating development contracts with land developers, contractors, and architects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent, or 4 10 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in sales management, real estate sales, property management, or a related field.
• Experience leading, training, coaching, and managing sales personnel.
• Knowledge of real estate transactions, sales processes, negotiations, and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing the real estate industry.
• Experience with budgeting, process control, and departmental planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve customer and transaction-related issues.
• Ability to analyze market conditions, competition, financial information, and business opportunities.
