Patient Service Representative - Registration

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Service Representative - Registration at the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth registration process.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient needs are met

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
• Attention to detail and accuracy
