Retail Shift Lead

You are a natural leader who still loves being on the floor with customers and ready to take the next step in your retail career. This role bridges associate and management, making it a great opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility without jumping straight into full management. What you'll do: Open and/or close the store, following all procedures accurately Lead the floor during your shift — keeping the team focused, supported, and on task Step in as the point person for customer concerns and questions Handle cash, registers, and end-of-day reconciliation Keep the store stocked, clean, and shoppable throughout your shift Assist with receiving orders, transfers, and special orders as needed Communicate team updates, issues, and wins to the ASM or Store Manager Support training of new Sales Associates Attend team meetings and contribute ideas Make someone's day a little brighter What we're looking for: Prior retail experience required; supervisory experience is a plus Someone a team naturally looks to for direction — calm, reliable, and positive Strong communicator with customers and colleagues alike Comfortable handling opening/closing procedures and cash responsibilities Flexible availability including evenings and weekends A problem-solver who handles the unexpected without rattling What you'll get: Legacy Bucks — quarterly store credit earned based on your hours Employee discount Flexible scheduling First look at new products and arrivals Staff Picks — your recommendations featured on the floor A clear path to grow into Assistant Store Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr Legacy Toys
