Energetic, collaborative team that does a tremendous amount of work but makes time to enjoy one another day‑to‑day and through events and celebrations SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE- With the support of our established Urogyn Team Work in close partnership with clinicians as an integral and valued member of the care team. Room patients and provide direct patient care support. Assist with complex procedures and provide procedural support for patients. Perform bladder installations and self‑catheterization teaching with guidance from the UroGyn team. Manage referral processes, including scrubbing and teeing up referrals for review. Ensure charts are complete and ready for patient visits. Set up telehealth visits and ensure all necessary patient information is available. Complete prior authorizations for office‑based procedures such as UDS, medications, and Botox. Field patient calls and manage patient needs, escalating next steps as needed. Potentially schedule post‑op and follow‑up appointments. Support administrative work related to UroGyn and advanced GYN services, including maintaining referral lists and assisting patients calling in for advice. Ensure patients are roomed and that all necessary medical records are available prior to visits. Qualifications: WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE High school diploma or GED (required) Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program Certified as an MA through AAMA, NCCT, or AMT, or if recently graduated, ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire (required) CPR certification (required) Prior experience in phlebotomy/injections strongly preferred Experience with Epic EMR is a plus!
