Software Project ManagerAtego HighRely is currently searching for a Software Project Manager. This is a contract position that is expected to convert to full time.The Software Project Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and leading the development of software for automotive embedded systems. Responsibilities include the planning and monitoring of project issues, requirements, design, implementation and testing as well as coordinating with internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met.This position requires a high proficiency in planning, monitoring, and leading software development teams as well as the understanding of good development and testing practices. Furthermore, the selected engineer will have a strong ability to communicate and collaborate within the organization.Requirements Include:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplineAbility to relocate to West MichiganUS CitizenshipThe following skills are required and will be tested as part of the interview process:High proficiency in planning, monitoring and leading software development teamsUnderstanding of good development and testing practicesAbility to communicate and collaborate within GentexThe following skills and qualifications are desirable:Automotive industry experienceMicroprocessor based product development experienceSoftware development or software testing experienceExperience with Agile practicesExperience with CMMI, SPICE, or DO-178BAtego HighRely offers an excellent benefits package and VERY competitive compensation.
