Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in an unspecified region. Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license, at least 1 year of OR experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).
• Float: Float to other units within skill set may be required.
• Additional Information: The role covers surgical procedures including general, gynecological, breast, ENT, and urology surgeries, and may involve assisting with specialized equipment such as wound vacs, drains, and various pumps. Candidates should be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases with a mix of pediatric and adult patients. Responsiveness to unit needs and flexibility in scheduling, including working some holidays, is expected.
