Associate Director, Data Management

Responsibilities

Lead all pre-launch and post-launch data management activities for pipeline therapies Osavampator and Direclidine within commercial organization
Define, own, and execute commercial data strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise business priorities
Establish and govern data governance frameworks, purchasing decisions, operating procedures, and quality standards across datasets
Oversee budget and contracting for data licensing agreements and third-party consulting engagements for data model development
Partner with Field Operations, Analytics, Marketing, IT, and Commercialization Lead to ensure data solutions meet evolving business needs and support scalable commercial execution

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field with 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience; Master's preferred with 8+ years
Expert knowledge of commercial data management best practices with 5+ years focused experience
Strong understanding of biopharma commercial data ecosystem, governance, and operational processes; new product launch experience highly preferred
Proficiency with data tools and platforms including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, SQL, and Python
Familiarity with commercial data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare, specialty pharmacy data, and claims platforms like Komodo and Veeva Compass
Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional projects in matrixed environments with strong project management skills
Proven experience handling patient-level data with strong HIPAA and regulatory compliance knowledge
