Associate Assembler/Machine Operator (13357)

Adecco is currently recruiting for multiple Associate Assembler and Machine Operatorpositions to work with a client in Utica, NY. These are long-term temporary roles with a starting pay rate of $16 per hour1st-7:00am-3:30pm2nd- 3:00pm-11:30pmThis is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on manufacturing experience in the medical device industry with a global company.If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with repetitive hands-on work, you are encouraged to apply - previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required as training is provided.What you'll do:As an Associate Assembler, you will help assemble, inspect, package, and prepare medical device products for shipment. This may include:Assembling, inspecting, packaging, and labeling medical device products, including electrodes and related componentsLoading/unloading parts, trimming materials, and following established work instructionsOperating basic production equipment and notifying a supervisor of any issuesPerforming visual quality checks and using basic gauges as neededCompleting labels, production logs, and other required paperworkKeeping the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety and quality standardsMachine OperatorKey Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor automated electrode manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.Set up, start, adjust, and troubleshoot Autoline equipment to maintain product quality and production output.Perform routine inspections and in-process quality checks to verify product specifications and compliance with established standards.Load raw materials and components into production equipment and ensure proper material flow throughout the manufacturing process.Identify, document, and escalate equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality concerns.Complete required production documentation, batch records, and electronic transactions accurately and timely.Conduct line clearances and support product changeovers according to standard operating procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with GMP, safety, and company requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow.Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Production leadership to resolve issues and achieve production goals.Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.Train and assist other operators as needed and demonstrate flexibility across multiple autoline operations.Competencies RequiredEquipment operation and troubleshootingAttention to detail and quality focusMechanical aptitudeProblem solving and decision makingAbility to follow procedures and documentation requirementsTeamwork and collaborationContinuous improvement mindsetReliability and accountabilityAdaptability and willingness to cross-trainStrong safety awarenessWhat we're looking for:Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to stand for an entire shiftComfort with repetitive tasks and hands-on assembly workWillingness & ability to follow safety, quality, and cleanliness proceduresBasic reading, writing, and math skillsMaintain consistent, dependable attendanceWhy apply?Long-term assignment with a well-respected company.Consistent first shift day schedule.Opportunity to gain hands-on medical device industry experience.Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses.Weekly pay to keep your financial planning on track.Competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.Pay Details: $16.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
