Senior Attorney

Approximately $200,000 Base | $500,000+ Total Earning Potential A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ law firm is seeking an accomplished Florida-licensed trial attorney to help lead and expand its civil practice representing survivors of sexual abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, exploitation, institutional misconduct, and related wrongdoing. This is a senior, partner-level opportunity combining high-impact litigation, compassionate client advocacy, practice leadership, and substantial financial upside. The ideal candidate will have significant prosecutorial or government experience involving sex crimes, special victims, crimes against children, domestic violence, human trafficking, homicide, public corruption, or similarly serious matters. This is plaintiff-side civil litigation, not criminal defense. Responsibilities Lead complex civil cases involving sexual abuse, assault, exploitation, trafficking, institutional liability, and related survivor claims. Manage matters from intake and investigation through discovery, motions, settlement, and trial. Develop civil litigation strategies arising from criminal or abusive conduct. Provide senior-level leadership and mentor attorneys and professional staff. Build referral relationships with attorneys, prosecutors, victim-advocacy organizations, community agencies, and other professional contacts. Help expand the firm’s Florida presence and survivor-focused civil practice. Qualifications Active Florida Bar membership is required. Significant courtroom and jury-trial experience. Former Assistant State Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, Assistant United States Attorney, or comparable government experience strongly preferred. Experience handling serious, sensitive, or high-stakes matters involving victims and complex evidence. Strong leadership, judgment, communication, and client-management skills. Ability to work compassionately and effectively with survivors of trauma. Ability to travel within Florida (Miami) when required. A portable book of business, existing matters, or established referral relationships are welcomed but not required. The firm will also consider a respected solo practitioner or small practice interested in exploring a strategic combination. Compensation The anticipated base salary is approximately $200,000, with substantial additional earning potential through case origination, performance incentives, and participation in successful matters. Total compensation may reach $500,000+ based on performance and case generation. This position is remote within Florida. Miami-area candidates are preferred, although exceptional Florida-licensed attorneys located elsewhere in the state will be considered.
