Description

We are looking for qualified candidates to fill a clinical faculty role at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, specializing in multiple myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias as a clinician/investigator. The specific track, rank, and tenure status will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications.

The selected individual will enhance our clinical and research initiatives related to these conditions, leveraging the outstanding translational research resources available at our institution and the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Responsibilities will include attending to both inpatient and outpatient services, engaging in multidisciplinary team care, and contributing to clinical research efforts for an expanding patient population with multiple myeloma. Additionally, this role involves a commitment to education, as the faculty member will actively teach fellows, residents, and medical students. This position is tailored for physicians dedicated to a career in clinical research and delivering exceptional clinical care while participating in our educational objectives.

This position will remain open until filled and is classified as an exempt, benefited role.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology by the start date.
• While dual certification in both Medical Oncology and Hematology is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• If not board-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology by the start date, board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing patients with multiple myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias is essential.
• The successful candidate will need to pass a background check and pre-employment health/drug screening.
