Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst supports the organization's Compliance and Privacy Program through auditing, monitoring, investigations, education, reporting, and administrative activities. This role assists in ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, supports compliance and privacy investigations, risk assessments, policy initiatives, exclusion screening, and training efforts; maintains program documentation; and serves as a resource to the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Directors, Facility Compliance Officers (FCOs), and Facility Privacy Officers (FPOs).

Key responsibilities include providing support to the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance and Privacy Directors, conducting initial intake screening, assisting FCOs and FPOs with investigations, responding to staff inquiries, developing educational materials, supporting onboarding and training activities, assisting in the review and revision of compliance and privacy policies, providing administrative support, assisting with exclusion screening, analyzing program data, and participating in compliance and privacy committees and special projects.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include strong analytical, organizational, and professional skills, team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, self-starter attitude, strong Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of HIPAA.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, minimum of two years of healthcare, compliance, data analytics, revenue cycle, or health information management experience, and pursuing and maintaining a relevant, privacy or compliance industry-recognized certification.

Travel requirements are limited to approximately 10%.
