Monitor Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Monitor Technician to join our Telemetry team. The Monitor Tech plays a critical role in patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms, ensuring prompt recognition of arrhythmias, and collaborating with nursing staff for timely intervention.

Key responsibilities include: Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry patients. Recognize and report abnormal rhythms, arrhythmias, and changes in patient status. Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and ensure accurate documentation. Communicate effectively with nursing and medical teams regarding patient findings. Assist in setting up and discontinuing telemetry monitoring as needed.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a recognized EKG or Telemetry certification program. Previous experience in telemetry monitoring or patient care. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
