Schedule: M to F 9a to 2p (Flexible) Summary Of Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent required Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program ARRT Registration at the time of hire or within 6 months of hire date Advanced Registry in Mammography preferred but not required. Kansas State Licensure as applicable Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Excellent customer service skills Good judgment and resolution skills Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other employees Ability to adapt to changes Position Responsibilities Performs x-ray and fluoroscopic procedures. Operates imaging equipment to successfully perform procedures, and devise a plan of action that considers patient condition and diagnosis Prepares room for procedures including sterile trays, protective equipment, and devices used per protocol Prepares patients for procedures, including screening, providing instructions to obtain desired results, and explain the procedure to the patient. Evaluates images for technical quality Ensures ACR Guidelines for accreditation Maintains records and perform daily QA for equipment as assigned Correlates patient’s accurate clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by Radiologist. Assists with assigned departmental tasks necessary for day to day operations Assists radiologist with specialized fluoroscopic procedures.
