Job Summary

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for driving top-of-funnel sales activity by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective healthcare clients within the permanent physician staffing market. This role generates enterprise-level leads, schedules high-value discovery meetings, and leverages Salesforce to track activity, build pipeline, and support business growth. The Lead Generation Specialist serves as a strategic first point of contact, creating opportunities that drive new client acquisition and revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high level of performance in achieving outreach, lead generation, and appointment-setting goals.
• Research, identify, and engage prospective healthcare organizations through outbound calling, email campaigns, referrals, and networking efforts.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect information within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and pipeline visibility.
• Facilitate introductions and handoffs between qualified prospects and designated AMN business development leaders.
• Leverage marketing campaigns, industry events, referrals, and digital lead sources to generate new sales opportunities.
• Develop proactive outreach strategies in partnership with sales, marketing, and business development teams.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client staffing challenges, organizational goals, and current workforce strategies.
• Educate prospective clients on AMN's physician staffing solutions and articulate how services align with their business objectives.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and connect prospects with appropriate AMN service lines when applicable.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to enhance prospecting effectiveness and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

• High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of sales, lead generation, business development, recruiting, or client-facing experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Additional Experience

• Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage sales activities and pipeline
• Healthcare staffing, physician staffing, workforce solutions, or healthcare industry experience preferred
• Experience in understanding Managed Service Programs (MSP), Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), hospital workforce technologies, and related workforce solutions
• Experience engaging and influencing decision-makers at the director, VP, and C-suite levels
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity, lead generation, and appointment-setting metrics
• Experience supporting business development initiatives and generating qualified sales opportunities

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

Pay Rate
$58,000 - $72,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
