Casino Maintenance Technician*** $600 sign on bonus currently in effect for all new hires! ***Responsible for the upkeep of the casino buildingEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Replaces lights throughout casino including offices, restrooms, entertainment center/bingo hall, and gaming floors as needed or assignedRepairs damaged walls and paints walls as neededPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, carts, etc.Performs construction of partitions, cabinets, and shelves as assignedPerforms ground keeping duties as needed, assigned, or scheduledPerforms basic plumbing repairsSafely operates all motorized equipment such as mower, carts, and liftMaintains the cleanliness and organization of the shop and tool storage areaDelivers and replaces soda syrup and CO2 at all drink stationsDelivers supplies when S & R Clerk is absentAssists with set up and tear down of entertainment center/bingo hall including stage, tables, chairs, audio equipment, etc.Removes trash from outside containers and delivers to compactorDelivers tables, chairs, soda machine, soda tanks, etc. to other locations for casino or tribal eventsReplaces gaming table felt as neededMaintains the appearance of tiled floors in hallway, restrooms, etc. by cleaning, stripping, and waxingAssists with unloading items off delivery trucks as needed or assignedSafely operates Golden Eagle Casino truck when picking up supplies or delivering items to other locations including smokerPerforms preventive maintenance according to time schedule and procedures set up by the supervisorResponds to emergency situations regarding facilities and grounds maintenanceAssists with maintenance inventory for supplies, tools, equipment, and machineryDuring winter, ice and snow removal will be done daily or as neededWill be responsible for performing basic and preventive maintenance on equipmentWill be required to work on lift when elevated and perform duties on roof of casinoWill perform other duties as assignedHeavy Work – Exerting 50 - 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 – 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 - 20 pounds of force constantly.Access to sensitive areas and information:Restricted areas with Security escortMaintenance office, shop, and tool storageSignatory ability:Shipping & receiving itemsItems picked up from suppliersQualification requirements:Must have knowledge of maintenance skills and equipmentMust have knowledge of basic electrical skillsMust have knowledge of mechanical skillsMust have knowledge of grounds keeping skillsMust have knowledge of housekeeping skillsMust have the ability to learn the schematics of the casino floor plansMust Have Valid Driver LicenseEducation and/or experience:GED or High School Diploma preferred, but not requiredCertification from basic or specialized maintenance training program preferred, but not required
