LOCATION:

This position is based in our Libertyville and Bannockburn offices as the Medical Assistant travels daily to the office where the physician sees patients; local travel may be required to other locations within your assigned geographic region.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the physician to provide high-quality patient care and support daily clinical operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam Sterilize instruments and set up in-office procedure trays Manage medical supplies and materials and work with their operational leader to order necessary inventory Take x-rays Perform administrative tasks and become cross-trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support when needed. Other duties are to support the physician and team with patient care activities. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS

2 years in a healthcare field preferred. High school diploma or GED required Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment Possess good communication and strong customer service skills Self-directed and willing to take initiative Patient-focused Proven ability to prioritize and organize Committed to continuous performance improvement Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Monday (LV) 7:30am - 12:30pm Tuesday (LV) 7:30am - 5:30pm Wednesday (BB) 7:30am - 5:30pm Thursday (BB) 12:30am - 5:30pm Friday (LV) 7:30am - 5:30pm
