Systems Engineering Manager - Lab Hardware Design

Responsibilities Lead the Fort Worth SIL Development Hardware/Photonics team, directing hardware design, checkout, delivery, installation, and integration of lab test equipment. Manage multiple programs, including direct and capital‑funded F‑35 and ADP projects, business‑development initiatives, and R&D efforts. Oversee staffing, training, and technical expertise to translate customer requirements into mechanical, electrical, and optical designs. Coordinate cost, schedule, and resource planning with LOB Project Leads, CAMs, and Managers, and communicate effectively with LMAero leadership and government customers. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering preferred). Demonstrated leadership skills and experience. Estimation and Earned Value Management (EVMS and/or CAM) training and experience. Desired Skills Fiber optics / Photonics experience. Security Clearance Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Location Fort Worth, TX; onsite full‑time. Work Schedule 4 x 10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
