Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician plays a critical safety-sensitive role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and production equipment. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will help maintain efficient and safe production operations while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and plant maintenance issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs for equipment and repairs.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations and company work instructions.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 25 years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems required.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Basic math and computer skills to work in SAP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Certifications: CMRT, OSHA 10/30, Forklift, etc.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
• Must have visual acuity, speech and hearing ability, and good hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working at heights and on equipment as required.
• Able to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
• Work in environments with high noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, and chemicals.
• Daily use of required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, occasional weekends, and overtime as needed.

Shift Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (MonFri, occasional Overtime)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Sun-Thurs, occasional Overtime)

• Pay: $25-31 (based on experience)
