Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic testing, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in conjunction with physicians or independently as permitted
• Delivering education to patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and effective management
• Prescribing medications and treatment within your licensed scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and management of chronic conditions
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and integrated care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or plan to obtain within 90 days)
