Data Center Project Engineer Controls SCADA

Montgomery, AL | Onsite | Contracttohire

Largescale data center program is seeking a midlevel Project Engineer specializing in SCADA, HMI development, and control network architecture. Facilities include 30+ PLCs and multiple SCADA servers, requiring strong technical ownership and clientfacing confidence.

What you’ll do

Design, document, and support control network architecture for multiPLC, multiserver facilities
Own SCADA/HMI graphics development and issue resolution on Ignition and AVEVA System Platform
Maintain consistency and reliability by adhering to established company and client standards
Troubleshoot escalated graphics, communications, and SCADA performance issues
Interface directly with the client and manage deliverables with limited daily direction

What we’re looking for

5–10 years of controls experience with specialization in SCADA/HMI platforms
Strong experience with Ignition (Inductive Automation) or AVEVA System Platform
Solid understanding of network architecture, Modbus communications, and controls fundamentals
Independent, selfdirected, and comfortable working in a clientfacing environment
Backgrounds in energy, oil & gas, data centers, or other largescale industrial control environments
